Dr Sharlene Low-Jap graduated from the National University of Singapore with a Bachelor of Dental Surgery in 1997. She was awarded the LC Lien Dental Clinic Gold Medal for being the best student in Preventive Dentistry II (Pedodontics and Orthodontics) and was also on the Dean’s List for the 3rd and final professional examinations.

She served as a dental officer at the National University Hospital Dental Centre from 1998 to 2000 and has worked in private practice with many years of experience. Besides clinical dentistry, Dr Low also lectured at the Nanyang Polytechnic School of Health Sciences where she was involved with the training and curriculum development of Oral Health Therapists from 2006 – 2011. She is currently appointed to their Dental Hygiene and Therapy Course Review Committee.

Dr Low enjoys working with patients of all ages and her clinical interests lie in preventive dental treatment, pediatric dental care and smile reconstruction. She is a firm believer of conservative dental treatment and utilizes the principles of minimally invasive dentistry in her everyday care of the patient.
