Dr. Joshua Chong graduated from Monash University, Melbourne, Australia, with a degree in Bachelor of Medicine and Bachelor of Surgery, awarded with Honours. He has undergone training in various departments in public hospitals and primary care institutions, including general surgery, orthopaedic surgery, cardiology, anaesthesia and intensive care, as well as, family medicine. Dr. Joshua Chong left for private practice to train in the dynamic field of aesthetic medicine.

His scientific background, keen interest in emerging fields of practice such as regenerative and anti-aging medicine and meticulous nature made him grow well into the role of an aesthetic physician. He is accredited by the Singapore Medical Council (SMC) and Ministry of Health Aesthetic Practice Oversight Committee (APOC) to perform a wide range of procedures including botulinum injections, filler injections, laser treatments, non-surgical skin lifting etc. He has attained certification with the American Academy of Aesthetic Medicine (AAAM).

Dr. Joshua Chong believes that one should always strive to learn and improve. As such, he regularly attends local and overseas conferences to keep a breadth of the science, design and trends in aesthetic medicine.

Through the years, he became focused on the aspect of hair loss and has gained deep passion for treating patients suffering from alopecia. Through partnerships with the International Society of Hair Restoration Surgeons (ISHRS), and well respected Past-President of the Society, Dr Russell Knudsen, Sydney, Australia, Dr. Joshua Chong models his practice on the highest international standards of professionalism and ethics.
